The TENGA EGG did something people have been doing for eons: they took a household object, and turned it into a sexualized tool. Quite why they took an egg as their concept pitch is a mystery to many of us, but TENGA delivered a phenomenal men’s sex toy that works. Today we’re looking at the TENGA EGG variety pack that includes six sumptuous toys for your pleasure: the Wavy II, Boxy, Brush, Tornado, Sphere, and Silky II styled EGGs. There are a few more models available, but as we’re looking at a specific pack, that’s what you’re getting out of the box… or rather, the carton.
The packing is odd, while it’s delivered to you in a very unassuming box, the contents and product box are well, an egg carton. While it might be unassuming, someone might have questions about why you have a box of eggs in your sock drawer, so these are definitely better kept out of sight, and especially out of the kitchen. If they know the TENGA name you’ll be caught red handed, and the ‘Easy Beat’ name on the box will only serve to embarrass.
Inside the box you have six individual toys as listed above, all egg shaped and independently wrapped. To use the toy, you peel the EGG’s wrapping off to reveal the softer gelatinous interior; don’t be fooled by the small size, these pint-sized adult toys have a trick up their sleeve. Inside the orifice itself, you’ll find a small pouch with some lubrication – a move we feel was smarter than Fleshlights shipping with a plastic rod insert. This makes each toy ready to go out of the box, simply apply a generous amount of lubrication around the orifice of the device, inside the device, and to yourself before use.
There is a downside that has to be put forward: these are listed by TENGA as a disposable item. While people have had mixed success in washing and reusing them, be aware that this is not their primary focus. If you are going to attempt to wash and reuse the product, avoid heavy soaps and detergents that may eat at the softer plastic material: again, we don’t condone this and nor does TENGA, but if you must, then be sensible about your cleaning strategy. If disposable toys don’t sound appealing, you may have greater interest in another product, such as the TENGA Flip Hole, that’s geared towards being usable.
Despite not being particularly reusable, you do get a wide variety of adult toys to enhance your personal experiences with rather than just the one. Each EGG is named independently for its unique interior; Brush has a bristled interior, while Sphere is inlaid with a number of ribbed spheres, and Tornado has a vortex pattern of ribs that twist and turn to apply changing pressure. The experience is incredible, thanks in part to the incredibly well engineered materials, not only are the TENGA EGGs soft, but they’re also very flexible and elastic.
That’s right, these devices aren’t as small as they seem thanks to the elasticity that allows them to stretch and morph as they pass up and down the shaft. Not only does this allow for a theoretically enormous insertable length, but the experience will vary ever so slightly from man to man depending on their own individual anatomy. This is all to their credit mind you, as the design prevents them from being prohibitive or unenjoyable based on your personal dimensions – a common quibble we’ve had with some of the Fleshlight designs available.
Out of the box you have everything you need to spend a quiet evening in, no fuss required, no extra products necessary. It’s an ideal all-in-one package that can spice things up when boredom sets in, whether that’s alone or with your partner, these make an intriguing treat on the side. They’re a bit of an adventure into the world of adult toys, promising to deliver a variety of experiences; you’re not particularly committed to one style of toy if you don’t find it favorable. They’re extremely comfortable to use, and the only real downside we can bring up is their lack of reusability.
