Have you ever wanted to use a Fleshlight with both hands-free? Straddling can’t exactly be called an uncommon fantasy, but it’s just not viable with conventional adult toys. You always need something holding it in place, and that just makes the cowgirl fantasy impossible.
Luckily technology never fails to deliver when it comes to the adult toy market, and that’s not about to change: the Fleshlight Launch is the next frontier in adult entertainment.[su_button url=”Luckily technology never fails to deliver when it comes to the adult toy market, and that’s not about to change: the Fleshlight Launch is the next frontier in adult entertainment.
How Does The Launch Work
So what does the Fleshlight Launch do? Well, for starters it’s not a Fleshlight, you’ll need to supply your own. It’s sort of an accessory to your Fleshlight, allowing for an automatic experience. Simply put, it secures and moves a Fleshlight automatically. You insert your compatible adult toy into the holster, set your stroke length and rhythm, and away it goes at up to 180 strokes per minute. If you ever feel the need to change, buttons on the side of the device make it convenient to control the pace and stroke as you do your business.
While having to add a Fleshlight is an extra cost on the already hefty price tag, this does let you customize your experience or use one of your already owned toys. This gives you some flexibility with the option to choose between your favorites: are you more into Alexis Texas, or Nicole Aniston? Hmm, it’s a tough choice but not one you’ll have to make often as you can swap them out day by day for all of your pleasure needs.
At this point, you may be asking, “If it just moves the toy, how is this better than what I’ve got already?”, And that’s where the tech-savvy elements come into play. Not only will this device control the motions, but it can do so much more thanks to new technologies. What was always expected since the inception of VR has come to fruition: a sex toy that works in conjunction with virtual reality. This toy can synchronize with major VR headsets such as the Vive and Oculus to deliver an unmatched experience that syncs up with the video.
If you’re familiar with Fleshlights in general, you’ll know it’s a good idea to use a generous amount of lubrication. This goes double for the Fleshlight Launch. While the device is reasonably easily controlled by the side mounted buttons, unlike you, the device can’t tell if it’s causing discomfort or pain. It’s going to keep working away, and if you lack sufficient lubrication, you’re going to be in for a nasty time. The sleeve of a Fleshlight, while soft, is generally more abrasive than sensitive skin and unlike the human body, won’t self-lubricate. This is a chance you’re better off not taking.
The device itself is somewhat bulky at 12.75” tall and wide enough to be somewhat stable, although it isn’t particularly discreet either. While it’s unlikely anyone would know what it is at first glance given a slightly angular and odd aesthetic, it’s still hard to explain away and isn’t quite as convenient as throwing a Fleshlight back in the underwear drawer. Then again, Fleshlights aren’t exactly without maintenance either, with cleaning an essential chore; combined this makes a somewhat arduous pleasure experience with a lot of preparation necessary.
There are unfortunately some caveats that may impact the usability experience. The battery life warning indicator isn’t particularly helpful, rather than telling you the battery percentage, it’ll give you a brief warning before shutting down entirely. That can be a real buzz kill if you’re getting your groove on. While it’s rechargeable, it gives no indication or estimate on how long it will take.
While the VR fantasy is incredible, the reality is it can be a little cumbersome. Unless you’re a bona fide technophile in the literal sense, you might not find having a headset stuck to your face or the cabling that comes with it particularly attractive or arousing. While the video sync technology is exciting, it’s not executed with a clever algorithm or anything like that, so don’t expect to enjoy any video you want with it. Rather it’s more like a profile has been established for a set of videos provided by FeelMe that coordinate well with the device.
Ultimately this has the potential to be the dawn for a new series of adult toys. It has good fundamental ideas such as video syncing with VR headsets, but it’s not quite executed in the best way. There are many quality of life upgrades that could be made to the device, such as the battery indicator, that would go a long way to making the product a better purchase. There will surely be iterative designs that continue to improve this idea, but for now, it’s still a technology in its early stages. For well-prepared pleasurer, this will surely be an incredible device, but for the spontaneous, you might find it lacking.
