Sadly, Nicki Minaj’s album wasn’t the epoch-defining rapper-guzzling monster we’d hoped for, perhaps because her cartoon rawness sat uncomfortably atop all those plinky-plonk trance-pop beats. It wasn’t all bad though, like the Drake-guesting lullaby Moment 4 Life. Here Star Slinger lends Alfred Bitchcock some of his spacedust.
