Myles Cooper – Gonna Find Boyfriends Today

This kaleidoscopic Bontempi banger from our new hero Myles Cooper
might be the most joyful jam of all time, and arrives arm in arm with the happiest video ever (A singing strawberry! Dancing muppet things! A cartoon guy in a sombrero smoking a doobie and playing giant glowing peppers like drums!). When this is released by our pals at Transparent we fully expect all wars to end and humankind to evolve into a harmonized collectivity of consciousness that might look something like that cool giant space baby at the end of 2001, but surrounded by dancing cupcakes and rainbow unicorns. After the jump, Myles tells us about his life in San Francisco.

1. “The only job I could manage to get when I first moved to San Francisco was “hand washer” at a Moroccan food restaurant. I washed other peoples hands all night for tips always amounting to less than
minimum wage. The belly dancers would tease me and gracefully knock things out of my hands on purpose. It was humiliating.”

2. “I love candy. It’s all I have to look forward to really. I eat at least two candy bars a day. The packaging alone makes me happy. I love frivolous things, like music, that bring a moment of joy into a
routine day. I think people should eat more candy and listen to more music.”

3. “I have a pregnant niece who is the same age as me. She is about to have the baby any day now… which will make me a very young great-uncle. I suppose it is the closest thing most gay men get to being a grandfather.”
