321 : Chew Lips

James: “1. Chew Lips is a character in the Brendan Behan book, Borstal Boy.
2. They’re now apparently making a film of Borstal Boy in that Hollywood.
3. It has Danny Dyer in it as the eponymous Chew Lips, we fear this may signal the end of the band…”
J: “Total Trash by Sonic Youth. I love Sonic Youth and was reminded of this particular one because it was played on some shitty comedy awards thing as Jasper Carrott walked on to collect his lifetime achievement award… please! I nearly cried with shame. It’s a cool song. And they have millions of cool songs.”

“Disney Girls by The Beach Boys. This is a golden oldie, it reminds me of sad times…”
J: “Cheese on toast please & maybe a cup of tea?”
