Rattle & Roll Here at Pinglewood we’ve never done an honest day’s work in our lives. We have pink little palms, soft as Haribo, and our wet, foppish handshake flops somewhere between the royal wave and I’m a Little Teapot. Shakes, on the other hand, are the kind of pals that grip hard then wiggle your knuckles around just to see you squirm. They come from the Isle of Wight, there are two of them, and they have the same surname. We hope they’re co-joined twins like the Brothers of the Head. Their pumped-up, punk-funk would be even better if one of them was singing out of the other’s neck. But even if they are two separate, non vital organ-sharing beings their new single Disneyland is sure to see them roughing up a few dancefloors. Last year they did a great job of remixing Fa-Fa-Fa by the excellent Datarock, and even managed to make Kasabian sound a little less like the areseholes they so obviously are. No mean feat.
